 Forming a new clan To form a clan the player/s wishing to do so must have at least 4 members and must pay 200 million for their tag (No more handouts from the server)
 Owning Bases Clans can buy bases or planets from the moment they are official but they must have 4 members for each base they purchase. How you run your base is entirely up to you as long as it does not infringe on any of the server rules. (Admin reserves the right to adjust and add rules as he sees fits) You cannot buy Capital System planets, i.e. Manhattan, New Tokyo, New Berlin or New London. Also you cannot buy Freeports. All your bases must be within the same system. But you can purchase all other bases and planets in the Capital Systems other than Planet Manhattan, New Tokyo, New Berlin or New London BUT you can never own the system.
 Extra bases For every 4 members you can buy another base (non active members do not count), i.e. You must have 4 members to your first base and to get a forum set up, then 8 for your second base and so on. The bases must be in the same system. You cannot claim bases scattered all over Sirius. (Tough to maintain anyway) You can buy a Planet but none of the Capital System planets, New Berlin, New London, New Tokyo and New York or Freeports. Small Bases that do not sell ships cost 10 million, Bases that do sell ships cost 25 million and planets cost 50 million.
 Owning Systems I have decided to allow clans to own one system in which they own bases other than the Capital System - Manhattan, New Tokyo, New Berlin or New London, must be purchased for 150 million credits (does not include any bases, bases must still be bought). To be eligible for owning a system you must have at least 2 bases in that system. If the system has 2 bases or less then owning all the bases is sufficient. If you own a system you can charge passage fees through the system and or kill any player they feel is trespassing in their space. The same rules apply for attacking players, see rule 5 for more info.
 Docking Fees You cannot claim docking fees for your bases if a clan member is not at the base when the other player is on your base, i.e. if you own Planet Crete and your clan member is in New York he/she cannot charge for docking at your base. You can now claim right of passage fees for players passing through your system. (Same criteria as rule 5) You can only claim docking fees from players above level 45 (Or if you know for sure that the player has other chars above level 45) or in class 10 ships (whichever is applicable) If freighters are buying or selling at your base they must pay a commission based on what they make for that journey (to be discussed)
 Passage Fees Same rules apply for charging passage through your system in terms of level of player (Same criteria as rule 5) If a system is shared fees are paid to whichever clan is claiming the fee. Sharing the proceeds is up to the clans involved in the system sharing agreement.
 Dock Camping You can dock camp players who refuse to pay for 10 minutes only (as long as they fit the criteria in rule 5) or until they leave the game or change chars. If they do leave but comeback later the 10 minutes starts again.
 Getting Payment You can hunt down players who dock and run (as long as they fit the criteria in rule 5) but only in the system itself and the next system into which they flee, after that it\'s too late. Likewise you can chase and kill players who refuse to pay the passage fee
 Relocating If a clan wishes to relocate they forfeit their exisitng bases and the system (if they actually own it) and must rebuy all new bases (and system) at the full price as stated above
 Clan Members All players who are in a clan must have a clan tag on all their characters, no exceptions Unless an admin tells you to. This means that once you are in a clan - you may not belong to a different clan at the same time.
 Clan Ships A clan ship will have a price tag. If it is a ship that is already in the mod it will cost you 50 million. If it is a ship that already exists and just needs adding to the mod then it will cost you 100 million to get it added. If it is a ship that you want custom building then it will cost 1 billion (if the design is suitable). On top of that you will have to buy the ship at the going rate, i.e. around 2 million for an SHF or 4 million for an Interceptor. Only members of the clan are allowed to fly the ship and if someone leaves a clan - then thier right to fly the ship is revoked and players have to sell at the earliest opportunity. If you are a member of the clan on other servers, and NOT active in the clan here then you have no right to fly the clan ship on the colours server.
 Disbanding Clans If a clans\' active members drops below 4 (the number needed to create a clan) and after two weeks if they do not have 4 members, they will lose all their goods and be disbanded. If they start up agian they will have to start from scratch and pay again.
 Unofficial Clans Once an unofficial clan has 4 members or more they must become official within 2 weeks or remove their tags and play as Freelancers. If they do not do this all tagged characters will be deleted without reimbursement.
At this stage these rules are negotiable. I would like to hear any ideas from all players not just clan members on possible improvements.');
Remember Capital Systems are not for sale neither are the Main Planets. The rest are for sale and prices are reduced for Clan Tags and Owning systems.
