Its all has been split up into specialities.
One specialist userbar per person, anything else you fly/use will be set as user/operator.
Mainly to put an emphasis on what field you are best in.

Once I get round to making more, I will then animate them.
Thus far I have only done them for active members, I will make more upon request.

[EDIT] After looking them over, I might change the styles.
e.g. Current styles for specialists will be for operators/fighters
Current styles for operators/fighters will go to the specialists.
Mainly because at the moment operator/fighter styles look better 8)

You can combine clan ranks and specialist/operator bars into one bar using colours assigned by your rank [here on Fang forum, not BSG]. But that's up to you.

Now for the personal request, replace DS Operator with DS Specialist[use DS name instead], and g/o with f/o. That's the current situation.

DS operator need to be ammended as fang needs to be to the left a bit more
FO specialist needs to not be in capitals to be in sink with the rest.

Seems image shack reeked havock on the quality

Just need o get some decent images, or find a decent text for the name place holder.
Oh yeah, archy good idea with the ranks, but for those non fang who dont know the colour's i thought of making a seperate userbar so they know what rank we are by name. Not just color.

I'll try to dig some nice img for that center piece, in the meantime i suggest re-uploading them somewhere else [hint: photobucket] i just spent 2mins waiting for imgshack server to respond.

All in all, bars look fine, and yeah i kinda forgot you will be merging several bars into one gif, so theres no reason for you not to create rank bars as well.

Cool cool, well I have just gone through the process of creating new text holders on all of the template documents (roughly 12) which means that new name/center text can be implamented without ruining the flow when animated.

Just creating a photobucket as we speak.

Glad you like them mate.
Came across one problem with the web animation... When they done it they compressed the file a hell of allot which means mass pixelation.
Result? I'l have to animate them in image ready. lol

That simple font works better for me.

If you need some help with animation i suggesting poking Rav when you catch him on XFire. ;D

Righto, they have been jazzed up and bumbed down with the font being changed on all of them.

I'm good for animating, done too much of it a few years ago Just not suprised about the pixelation :/




There we go, thats just an example of the user bar when its done. I cant see any pixelation which is good...
BUT
The -=|FANG|=- moves slightly from specialist to operator...
So i'l go back to the master template and amend it there and hopefully get a smooth transistion throughout the animation.

Righto, all those templates are amended so that the animations will be nice and smooth.
Problem regarding quality has also been resolved too ^_^

I tried to stick to the rank colours on the sun.

templar and master look pretty similar though, dunno if u meant it. but u can only tell once u look closely. or it might just be my eyes ^^

I tried to do a kind of triangle which is in our logo, but a perspective kind of view and havent got that just right yet.

Going to play about with the sun, I think making the original a greyscale and changing the colour levels was a bad move.

If I cant get the triangle, i'l be needing somthing else to fit in the empty middle space...
Unless you want names again?

Rank bars will look good even without any sign/name in the middle.
But you do need different colour for the novice one, try adding 50% 55ccc0/66cccc web, that looks fine [at least on my screen it does :\].

Well, just to point out...
people who lean towards the use of missiles and lean away from the conventional only guns mounted on their ships.
Are called Full On fighters aka f/o and Guns Only is g/o

So alike previous userbars you would have the "f/o specialist" in the mix.
