my system: MB:Gigabyte kv400 or somthing, anyway it`s old CPU:AMD Athlon xp 2600 RAM:1 gig DDR3200 Graphics:Radion 9600 xt Pro,all 8 pipelines unlocked(standard 4 pipelines) Hard drive 1:Maxtor 160 gb Hard drive 2:as above.I don`t use raid, have been using pc`s for donkeys years and have never had the need for it. dvd:1 NEC dvd rw single layer dvd2:NEC dvd rw dual layer sound:onboard AC97 5:1 surround(it`s actually pretty good for onboard) Speaker.Cheap and nasty labtec speakers because my rabbit totally chewed through all my speaker cables, will be replacing them(the speakers, not the rabbit)next month Connection.2meg(although I connect @2.5 meg)no idea what upload /download is,but I have a contention ratio of 10:1 so my pings are frikin awesome hehehehe
Plans for later in the year is to upgrade MB,cpu and possibly a graphics card to pci-E.

500 bucks?thats daylight robbery lol.I built an older system for myself to play older games on,made it out of bits of old pc bits i have that i laying around. the system specs of my retro pc are: AMD k62-500 windows 98 SE 256 SD ram soundblaster 16 ISA(!) slot diamond monster fusion 3d card with a whopping 16 meg of ram 8 gig hard drive cd-rom
plays my older games, such as x-wing,tie fighter etc beautifully. If i go near it with a copy of half life 2 it keels over and has a heart attack lol
estimated total worth of this pc is probably close to £25,yet 10 years ago it would have been close to £1200
