Now, where to start....
First i would like ask the server staff,
what rule was violated. I don't recall any side calling for 5 kill rule or anything.
Was you called for some intervence by G41 ? I doubt about it. Despite our mutual perhaps stronger dislike status, i respect their huge persistence in fight.(in fact every my member does).
Isis is our system we always... since very begining we came here, considered as our home system. And the Karstaag, our frozen space fortress is located there.
I can't talk for G41, but this shootout wasn't apriori planned ahead from our side. They came, we were teased about not comming, we came. We shoot. End of story.
As i said in our PM convo, i got no knowledge about some event. I'm bored guy who from after work did what he did in past... came home, turned the computer on, jumped to Freelancer, and got some shootery. Simple mechanism for relaxation which is common for any action like game. And lets be honest, ain't far from Third person shooter game, just in space habit. Then got bored and went for COD-MW2 shootout. Don't search any magic there. Disrupting event I'm admiting i'm kinda suprised about it, but i guess that both worked both ways. Our activity intrefered with your event, as your event interfered with our own enjoyment which was always same in FL, login and shoot. And i would like to believe, that voice of players is higher than voice of server Staff when it's deciding about general server heading.
On a technical note.....
My memory perhaps ain't so great, but i still DO REMEMBER, that you guys aren't server owners.
Let's check IP, yes its still located in Netherlanden.
I believe it's good time to enlighten some newer players about server they play on.
BSG crew without any doubt are clearly the mod owner, however the server itself is provided by courtesy of ||KOS||ThaKn.
I'm saying this because he is member of famous and by many players feared and considered as quite brutal PvP clan.
Those who don't know, former BSG server was hosted in germany on ADSL line, which relatively small upload
...where when total number raised let say to 15+, u started experience nasty laggs and so. And this guy, came, offered and provided a server for BSG mod, which was quite awesome in past.
And now we are talking about bandwith speed of 1GB . upload/download. Completely another league.
And i strongly believe so, he surely done it in good faith of developing BSG community, in time when KOS, his clan, was still active here and enjoying the game especialy the PvP part of it, the same one like one occured in Isis. It was the server which was originaly ment to be as KOS server with HOMEWORLD (ya that famous RTS game), freelancer mod in which was Acid putting huge effort. Which didn't happened and BSG mod was putted instead. Heh i wonder if he still have it somewhere. Tbh, i doubt that Thakn as KOS member would like to see current server heading and disrupting PVP in so ridiculous way.
So i ask thee, Zeus, and this is going even more for you Gladi (Venom) as you mentioned it in our convo,
By whom have u given privilegue to start treat players with bans and so if they aint RPing and stuff.
As you openly did mentioned Gladi in our privy msn convo, that it doesn't matter who owns the server because you are the mod owner, so my indirect and only logical conclusion is that you might want blackmail the players with pulling your mod out if something won't going acording your decision, and i tease you again to do so, because if you will... that would say a lot about you m8 and how do you value the playersI think your theatrical disconecting the server, already proven something on this argument.
Since I'm guest here, as you are....
I'm leaving. Bit angry slamming door, however also gratefull for being allowed play for so long. Not all in mod was bad, if it would...
none of us would be here. Not to mention.. if not BSG servers, i would never met many interesting players/ppl and now even friends.
