Just spent the last few hours remembering all my time in Freelancer, and after reading about EU shutting down 6 months ago, this was the only place I could find with players that might've played there. I'm sure nobody remembers little Slingshot, particularly since I was never in the clan, but I just wanted to say something to someone from EU or I'd deeply regret it. So, Raven, just wanted to say sup, and thanks for all the times we flew. Little slingy's grown up  . Man I miss that community. Later |

Oh i do remember you m8. =D. and Darthy remembers for sure too. ..EFS one just not sure about ur last rank. LtCol ? You were youngest killer on server, and one of ppl i always respected very highly. I still recall some of awesome fights and duels we got, you were oponent with best CD timing i ever seen. We are trying settle in new game. (again space sim). but from time to time still comming online to FL. It's not something one could leave behind so easily, isn't it ? :-) By the way... EU... is now known as Utopia Universe. I'm still hanging on msn, and xfire |

Hi, I got the email, I'm alive, but in a bit nerve-wracking state now as I should be working on my bachelor paper and other university stuff. Most of my free time I spend watching/playing Starcraft 2 xD. Years ago I've been playing Parkan, on 2005 Parkan 2 was released, but it's still not good enough (though the concept is just superb, you can play it as FPS with your pilot, fly spacepships and rule planets). I don' think there was or is going to be released anything as good as Freelancer, Jumpgate Revolution seems to have atmospherical physics (seriously, is it that hard to understand the difference?  ). I'm looking forward to Dragon Age 2, The Witcher 2, Portal 2 and Guild Wars 2 . |

Freelancer slowly fading atleast some servers like BSG, being turned off. ...and we are searching for game atm. ^^ |

Ahhh, the long, legendary freelancer. We will remember you v.v. but you have to admit, for a computer game, so unique, it lasted pretty darn long . Ah okay, hope one's found x.x. but if i can help, what kinds are we looking at? |

Well BSG seems up again. (how surprising)
Not a bad thing, but useless, unless makers will start look at their own work in way more critical angle, and same for arsekissers. Those peeps ain't helping make progress to move forward.

I don't know when it comes out or if it's going to be good but Planetside Next is a sequel to the Planetside from 2003 and could be something you like...
the problem is that it will probably require subscription fee.
