Greetings. I am Dartheon, i played also BSG a few years ago, and Stumpy told me that it is running again! (sorry if i shouldn't post this here, but couldn't find a better place) Anyway, i have made 2 accounts also and.. there is a strange bug. 2, tbh. 1st is that i have bought a cloud 9 ship, and since then when i buy more than 1 stuff, it goes to 2. So i buy 500 tylium, i pay the price of 500 tyilium, then it inmy cargo hold it jumps down to 1. I have bought now a cylon tanker - same happens. With other shuttles i can buy things, but.. is it possible to fix it, or better start a new? When renaming, the affiliation doesn't change - in fact, the 3 tags doesnt't have any effect.. .should it have?  Anyway... so, if i'm right, the admin here is Acid right, and he makes all the stuff alone? Venom, Zeus? Oh, and do u plan to hire server police? I would love to help you guys in anything. |

Ok to address your cargo concerns. Acid has incorporated external cargo space on the transport ships - 1000 extra to be exact. So when you buy cargo it goes into external until full then it starts to fill the regular cargo space. Hope that clears up that issue.
With affiliation, to begin you are just a civilian. To change that, buy a cylon or colonial bribe. best plan as your initial transport character is to keep it civilian to have a peaceful trade run. Just /bank cash to pass on to another character and build up a new fighter.
Venom and Zeus have no affiliation with our current server, just for the record.

Ok thank you. So if i'm right, then the character has 2 cargo right? an external, and regular.. but regardless, traders can hold 1000 stuff. Ok, i understand it that first external is filed and then regular, but that doesnt explain why the bought cargo jumps down to 1... Anyway, thanks for the answer.. sorry if i didnt understand correctly.. its morning after all  |

ok i found the problem: When i buy greater amount than 1000, it takes me from 1000 units of goods. So if i buy 1333 tylium, i get 333, but if i buy 999 or les, i get 1 stuff. I'll look that what happens to ships with less than 1000 cargo, becouse the Shutte is fully operational...

I'm not on BSG yet no mate, pretty busy atm and FL is being an arse. I'll be on this week for sure though. Looking into our memberlist I don't see anyone with the name Splinter, I can change your name for you if you like? Good to see you still about though mate, I'll catch up with you on the server soon |

Sorry about that. Didn't know there were connection issues. A post on a forum isn't the best way to get my attention. Perhaps this could be dealt with quicker in the future if you use steam chat and leave me a message. I haven't been playing games the past few days although I have been online.
Server has been restarted and now connectable. I had connection issues initially, even after a simple reset of flserver. A disk defrag later and all is well again.

I'll look that what happens to ships with less than 1000 cargo, becouse the Shutte is fully operational... It isn't a problem as you put it. It's meant to work this way. The external cargo only applies to the larger transporters (1000 and above) as far as I know. Add anything to under 1000 units and it places all cargo except 1 into external. There has to be at least 1 item stored internally, otherwise you won't have access to external hold. Exceed 1000 cargo and the internal cargo will start to fill. Tip: always add tylium last, otherwise it will end up in external and can't be used for jumps. |
