Right, I say back but I mean MAY be coming back. As it stands Ven is considering bringing BSG back. Been talking to him the past few days and its looking like a distinct possibility that it will happen. Just needs a place to host it and then its set, there's currently two options for that too so it might not even take long. Zeus wont be around so its currently just Ven AFAIK. I've spoke to the people I've seen on XF/Steam and so far its 100% yes from everyone I've asked so that's a plus.
Posting here so anyone who I don't see or doesn't use XF/Steam still gets the news.

Dust off your discs chaps, I expect to see some of you there. We may of had our differences with the mod in the past but lets face it... Nothing is currently quite like FL.

i think FL uses dx and not opengl. u can always try i guess . it seems we will have a problem with hardware with this one. our gfx cards are too good for the game says shadow.
EDIT: its just him. everyone without the nvidia 600 generation should be fine. so thats like everyone.

DW chaps my card that's too good is now good enough and works. TY Darth, you didn't break my PC with your idea.
If its not obvious either, the test servers also now up and Ven is handing out money so people can properly test. There are some problems with names of col systems but overall a LOT of stuff has changed, for the better from what I've seen.
Hopefully I'll see some of you lot on in the coming days + the proper server should hopefully up by the weekend which will be hosted by Starbuck so pings will still be generally the same. Good times all round really.

Also, the servers ready to go there are just some problems with FLHook atm so once Ven turns up it can be fixed. I'll post here when that happens.

Also @ Rav, stop hiding and log Steam/Xfire you nub.

Anyone else having problems with resolution? The game keeps cutting off my edges even though the resolution is right and it used to work before.

There are screen resolutions settings in mod when during its activation. And i also reccomend to check PerfOptions.ini in Documents/MyGames/Freelancer.

I have there something like this on bottom:

Another very important issue:
In past I was trying scale image on my widescreen LCD into 4:3 CRT mode to which I used for years in PvP, as playing on wide LCD hurts my pvp abilities. There is scaling option in
nvidia control panel-> Adjust desktop size and position->scaling.

3 options available : 1. aspect ratio, 2. fullscreen, 3. no scaling.
Play with those and screen resolutions as well and mod settings.

I think that should help.

I got used to the cut off edges though, I just hope it won't cause a problem in the future.

Long time no see chaps, thanks to Shadow for pulling me out of retirement.
Hoping going to dig out my disc at some point and make an an appearance. But pretty busy with work atm, so won't be around as much as the old days. Looking forward to catching up and being cannon fodder
